WHITEHAVEN have pulled off a major coup, signing former Hull FC star Motu Tony for the rest of the season.
The 28-year-old utility back, who left Super League Hull at the end of last season after making over 100 appearances for the club, also has 18 New Zealand caps to his name.
He previously played in the Australian NRL for New Zealand Warriors and Brisbane Broncos and is well known to Haven boss Ged Stokes, who coached him at international level.
“You couldn’t ask for much more experience in your team,” Stokes said.
Haven have also taken St Helens prop Paul Johnson, 22, on dual registration.
Both are available to face Batley on Sunday.
